10 Things About Trauma Teachers Need to Know

There has been an increase in the amount of research we've been seeing over the past few years related to trauma.  As School Psychologists, we are often called upon to help our schools, parents and students better understand the effects of trauma on learning.  This perspective shift essentially boils down to changing from a "What's wrong with you?" approach to a "What happened to you?" approach.
