The "Toy Like Me" Campaign


I recently came across this article and am always thrilled to see individuals and companies taking steps to actively include individuals with disabilities.  We've blogged about this recently with Target advertisements and Tommy Hilfiger's adaptive clothing line.

The "Toy Like Me" Campaign petitioned Lego to include more representations of disability in its products.  Lego has announced that its upcoming "Fun in the Park" set will include "its first wheelchair-using mini-figure - a young man who uses a wheelchair and is accompanied by an assistance dog."  You can read the article here:
